Hi, I’m Amy, a Registered Psychologist with over 15 years of experience. I’ve worked in private practices, community services, and not-for-profit organisations. I enjoy supporting adults through emotional challenges, health issues, and major life changes.
My background includes work in GP clinics, mental health programs, and return-to-work services. I see clients through Mental Health Care Plans, and I’m also SIRA-approved to provide therapy under Workers Compensation and CTP schemes.
I work alongside each client to help them feel more confident, connected, and able to move forward in a way that feels safe and at their own pace.
Therapeutic Focus
I support adults who are experiencing:
-
Anxiety, panic, and health-related stress
-
Depression and emotional fatigue
-
Grief, loss, and life transitions
-
Workplace and vocational stress, including recovery after injury
-
Chronic illness and pain-related mental health concerns
-
Cultural or family stress, including identity and migration challenges
My goal is to support people who may be facing emotional, physical, or social barriers — and help them reconnect with what matters most in their lives.
Therapeutic Approach
I offer therapy that is warm, practical, and focused on your goals. My approach is based on evidence and always tailored to your unique situation.
I draw on tools and techniques from:
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
-
Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)
-
Motivational Interviewing (MI)
-
Solution-Focused Therapy.
Sessions focus on building self-awareness, emotional regulation, and long-term coping — not just short-term relief.

More About Me
I speak English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. I enjoy working with clients from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. I’m committed to creating a safe, respectful space for all clients, and I take care to understand each person’s unique lived experience.
I’m currently completing a Master of Psychology Practice (Clinical) and plan to begin the Clinical Registrar Program soon. I value lifelong learning and reflective practice.
When I’m not working, I enjoy staying active, spending time with family and friends, and finding new ways to keep growing — both personally and professionally.
