Hi, I’m Soo, a Registered Psychologist at Mind Health Collective.
I work with children, teens, and adults. I help people face life’s challenges with more confidence and a stronger sense of wellbeing.
I’ve supported clients from many cultural backgrounds, including Korean and Japanese-speaking communities. I aim to create a space where people feel safe, respected, and heard.
What I Can Help With
I work with people navigating a range of emotional and everyday challenges. Some of the areas I commonly support include:
-
Anxiety, stress, and low mood
-
Grief and loss, including changes in life or family
-
School challenges like study stress or emotional ups and downs
-
Family or relationship difficulties
-
Parenting support
-
Assessments for thinking, emotions, or behaviour
I also work closely with families, schools, and other professionals to make sure support feels connected and consistent.
How I Work
I believe therapy should be tailored to each person. I create a warm, caring space where we can talk about what’s going on—and build on your strengths.
I use tools from different types of therapy, including:
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
-
Compassion-focused approaches
-
Family and relationship work
I also offer therapy in a way that respects culture and identity.
Sessions
You can see me in person or online. I work with people across Sydney and beyond.
A Bit About Me
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my cat, hosting dinner for friends, and camping in NSW’s national parks.
